It is a well-known fact that the bluish light of the screen can put a strain on your eyes, all the more so when spending time in front of the computer during the night. One solution is to turn the dark mode on for the web browser you are using. However, while the dark mode makes the browser toolbar and other areas dark, it does not affect webpages with a light background. The Super Dark Mode for Firefox can fix that, allowing you to change the theme to black and improve eye comfort.
Apply a dark theme to all the visited pages
Deploying the Super Dark Mode addon in Firefox is very easy, as the browser automatically detects the XPI extension and prompts you to give permission for it to be installed. As soon as you do so, a new black and white icon is placed in the browser toolbar and all the opened webpages are reloaded automatically. Clicking on the icon turns the dark mode on or off but you can also use the CTRL-Q key combination to do so.
The extension applies an elegant dark theme to all the webpages you are visiting. Additionally, you can enable a specialized dark mode for specific websites and pages, be them social media sites, email mailboxes, search engines or shopping websites. Moreover, aside from toggling the dark mode on demand, you can also configure Super Dark Mode to activate itself automatically in a specific time interval (for instance, during nighttime).
Define an exception list
Aside from the modern dark mode for all the webpages, you can also configure Super Dark Mode to apply a low contrast or a low brightness theme. Furthermore, it is possible to create a whitelist. In other words, you can build a list of websites that will be excluded when applying the dark theme.
Those who are experienced with the CSS language can also configure a global CSS in the “Options” section of Super Dark Mode. Please keep in mind that you should leave this section blank if you have no CSS knowledge.
Turn dark mode on to protect your eyes
An addon such as Super Dark Mode makes browsing during the night less damaging to your eyes, as it can make all the visited webpages dark and thus minimize the light of your screen. As a plus, you can define exceptions for webpages you don’t want affected by the changes.

As the developers of the Social Survey for Firefox add-on, we already know how important data collection is in order to develop solid user experience studies. For that reason, we are having some problems: we’d like to stop saving information about the visited websites of our users who choose to install our add-on.
We know that it does not sound like a big deal; but actually, it is. We might be forced to reconsider this one. Why?
As I’m sure you know, Firefox’s databases are all saved in Google’s BigQuery, a gigantic database where some 3,500 millions of records are scattered in different tables: the add-ons, the web pages visited, the tabs opened… The problem is that although everyone is familiar with the first two, that still doesn’t make it easy to retrieve the information about a site.
“So we cannot build an extension collecting data about the visited websites, because each time an add-on is updated, Google rewrites the table…”: it’s true. All we could do so far was copying the tables from the previous extension version, the query and the results, and then creating a new extension with this dataset.
Such a solution, though, means that we have to add a lot of work to our business model. We can’t continue to work on the Social
A modern night mode which applies a low-contrast dark theme and a low brightness for all the webpages you are visiting. Besides, the addon also applies a dark mode to specific websites and pages (Facebook, Gmail,…) plus many more. Additionally, the addon has a whitelist. In other words, it allows you to configure exceptions for the whitelisted sites and pages.
The addon has been updated to work with Firefox 57. It will automatically install the extension if your version is less than Firefox 57. If you already have installed the extension, just restart Firefox to apply the changes. For further information, see here.
As a side note, Super Dark Mode has a 3.5 star rating in the official Firefox add-on store.

be taken against the God of love, the Free Will, against the Word of God, nor, indeed, against the Virgin Mary.” – Jacques Maritain,
I think I could have used a final appeal to God on my behalf. Not sure how I can ’empathize’ with someone who denies the love they have for me, although I can understand how I would do that if I still had questions about my situation. But I was saying in my petition that I would rather have it all over with, I would rather not have to think about it, I would rather not be living, I would rather die now, than have to think about this again. I don’t think my parents would have told me about his death, though. Although they would have told me about the date of his death. They probably thought I would be able to cope. It’s not as though I was going through a bad patch. It was news about his death that I had to hear.
Hi people, thanks for your support and your kindness in caring for me in this matter. I have also tried to contact St Michael; after all he is the one who has let this thing happen to me. As far as I can work out this is not his fault as far as I understand,
